Gallery 1: 2. Ferris Wheel (April 2007 in Toronto)
12x18 inches. Canon Rebel XT
with Canon 35 mm lens; 1/180 second; f/16; ISO 100.
This impressive-looking ferris wheel was part of a small fair held in the parking
lot of the East York Town Centre. My spouse and daughter went for a
ride on it, but my son and I thought it looked way too scary. The sky
that day was a beautiful blue (in fact, it seemed too blue when I printed
the photograph, so I de-saturated it a little). I like the geometry of the
wheel, and the way it seems to be reaching out at the viewer.
