Gallery 1: 5. Fire Engine (January 2007 in Toronto)
12x18 inches. Canon Rebel XT with Canon 35 mm lens; 1/180 second;
f/16; ISO 200.
Everybody likes fire trucks, right? This one was
parked by the side of the road across from a Harveys, where the truck’s crew
of fire persons had gone for lunch. I took several horizontal photographs of the front of the truck but
liked this vertical one of best. I increased the contrast and saturation in
Photoshop, to make the blacks blacker and the reds redder.
